About Logos
Logos is a youth-led philosophy organisation working to make philosophy accessible. Most students never meet the subject at all.
Why we exist
Philosophy is treated as a university subject, so most people finish school without ever studying it. That costs them something real. It teaches you to build and test an argument, and it gives you a way to work out what you actually believe rather than absorbing it by accident.
We run a student-led journal, a podcast recorded with professors and people working in the field, and a set of introductory resources for anyone starting from scratch.
The Founders

Co-Founder · 15 · Jumeirah College
Smayan works on animal ethics and Aristotelian metaphysics. He started Logos because most classrooms get to philosophy far too late, if they get to it at all. He also writes on his Substack.

Co-Founder · 16 · Dubai College
Aleesha works on existentialism and ancient Greek philosophy. She is particularly interested in how mistranslated words in antiquity went on to shape whole arguments, and in the thinkers of the Arab Golden Age.
